Years of construction experience came together in late 2009 as John Goulter and Ryan Veitch started Image Projects Group. In the middle of a downturn in the property market, Image Projects Group went the other direction and quickly gained momentum, acquiring properties in a sector where there has been little action.
Their experience has helped as Ryan has a solid understanding of the building and development industries having been responsible for a number of major projects in S/E Queensland up to a value of $115million for major international construction groups.
John has been heavily involved in the building and development industries in S/E Queensland and particularly on the Sunshine Coast since 1978. Total value of building projects undertaken exceeds $650million.
Most recent development has been the North Shore Tavern, a $10+million joint venture with a Brisbane hotel identity.
As the number of projects increased, so did the need to take off some of the workload. In April 2010, John and Ryan looked to the University of the Sunshine Coast and found Property Economics & Development student Michael Stanfield for work experience. This continued where upon graduating, this and his other experiences in property encouraged them to take him on full time to relieve some of the pressure.
One year after coming together, construction has started on their first project under the Image Projects Group banner. “Villas on Image” is located in Nambour and will comprise of 29 townhouses, 2 and 3 bedroom options both include study, close to the hospital and shops. “This is an exciting project for us as we are able to provide the market with an affordable option.” Says Ryan.
